Why, what's this?

You mean, it's not obvious?

It's what happens when you ask your four-year-old son what kind of a vest he wants you to knit, thinking he'll say "blue" or "red" or maybe "with a green stripe."

Yeah, well. Maybe other kids say that. My kid is the son of a knitter. He aims a little higher.

He asked for a vest with a fire-breathing dragon.

What could I say? I knit him one.

Most. Awesome. Sweater. Ever.

He will proudly show it to his four-year-old son one day, I promise.

If there's anything left of it by then. He refuses to wear anything else, although he does consent to taking it off at night...

That is one terrific sweater! "Mom, You're the greatest!" (Well, I hope he is saying that...and maybe that's why he doesn't want to take it off!)

That's fabulous! I think I might recognize the dragon too.

My 6-year old asked for a "Reddog" sweater. Fair Isle with Irish Setters on it is taking a long, long time.

So creative! Now there's a boy who appreciates a knitter and her abilities. Cyndy
